PHC, Physiological Psychology, University of Washington. John Simpson. Research: Neuroanatomical Connections of the Subfornical Organ in Rats. Developed technique for using X-ray ventriculography for placement of canula during brain surgery. Developed on-slide histological technique for horseradish peroxidase visualization.
Ph.D. Applied Experimental Psychology, University of Washington. Dissertation: Sensitivity of Peripheral Vision to Simulated Aircraft Ascent and Descent. Chair: Lee Roy Beach. Also worked with Conrad Kraft and Jim Wise.

method of visualizing neural degeneration.
Associate Professor of Psychology at Robert Morris University, Moon Township, PA (near Pittsburgh). My research has been on educational technology at the post-secondary level. I have been actively involved with the Human Resource Management major I helped developed in 1993. Currently, I am developing a Doctoral Program in Human Factors and Ergonomics and looking to return to my first love in aerospace research.
Robert Morris University is focused on developing outstanding practitioners in all of their programs. We have a strong communication skills program, which requires students, in addition to knowing the content material of their field, to be able to present their knowledge in verbal presentations and written documents that are appropriate to the field.
Live in a cooperative living community, Chatham Village, with my wife and three cats, and co-chair the Community Gardens.
Volunteer work with the Mount Washington Community Development Committee improving the natural beauty of Mount Washington overlooking downtown Pittsburgh.
